The Blind Side
Candy is an old man which only has one hand and has to face many challenges throughout the book. there are a few reasons why candy faces so many challenges throught the book and one of the main being that he lost one of his hands and so only has one. the reson why this one of the greatest challenges that he goes through is because it is a direct reason as to why many of the other challenges occor. this is because when he lost his hand he lost the ability to do lots of everyday things which impacted him greatly because he was already old and so this meant he could no longer work with the other guys bucking barley being a direct cause to him spending lots of his time alone. this is one of the reasons why he built such a deep reslationship with his dog and why he thought of him like a son. this also meant he could only do simple things like feeding chickens or just watching over other things in the ranch and so would be not much use to anyone and

so would of probably been canned by the boss. another reason this would of been bad is because of this time alone he would of spent which is why he would of found it harder to argue with the others and would of had a lower athority out of them which also led to his dog getting killed. The other main challenge he would of faced is the killing of his dog as it was one the only things which he had left and was one the most important things he had in his life. when he got killed it was liem him loosing a son as he had always had him and so after he was killed he would be sad and suffored depression for lots of time after. this also would of afected him by the fact that someone elso killed his dog and the fact that he didnt do it himeself as a kind of respect for his dog.
